Privacy Policy
JEIL FA (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) establishes and discloses the following Privacy Policy in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act to protect the personal information of data subjects and to promptly and efficiently handle related complaints.
Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)
The Company processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed will not be used for any purpose other than those stated below.
If the purpose of use changes, the Company will take necessary measures, such as obtaining separate consent, in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
1. Website Membership Registration and Management
Personal information is processed for purposes including confirming the intention to register as a member, identifying and authenticating users for membership services, maintaining and managing membership status, verifying identity under the limited identity verification system, preventing unauthorized use of services, confirming the consent of a legal representative when processing the personal information of children under the age of 14, providing notices and notifications, and handling complaints.
2. Provision of Goods or Services
Personal information is processed for purposes including product delivery, service provision, sending contracts and invoices, providing content, offering customized services, identity verification, age verification, payment and settlement of fees, and debt collection.
3. Handling Complaints
Personal information is processed for purposes including verifying the identity of complainants, confirming the details of complaints, contacting and notifying individuals for fact-finding purposes, and providing notification of processing results.
Article 2 (Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information)
① The Company processes and retains personal information within the retention and use period prescribed by applicable laws and regulations or within the retention and use period consented to by the data subject when the personal information was collected.
② The processing and retention periods for each category of personal information are as follows.
1. Website Membership Registration and Management: Until withdrawal from the business or organization website
However, in any of the following cases, the information will be retained until the relevant reason ceases to exist.
1. Where an investigation or inquiry is underway due to a violation of applicable laws and regulations, until the investigation or inquiry is completed
2. Where any creditor-debtor relationship remains in connection with the use of the website, until the relevant relationship is fully settled
Article 3 (Rights of Data Subjects and Legal Representatives and Methods of Exercising Such Rights)
① Data subjects may exercise the following rights related to personal information protection against the Company at any time.
1. Request access to personal information
2. Request correction of errors or inaccuracies
3. Request deletion
4. Request suspension of processing
② The rights under Paragraph 1 may be exercised in writing, by telephone, email, facsimile (FAX), or other means, and the Company will take action without delay.
③ Where a data subject requests the correction or deletion of errors in personal information, the Company will not use or provide the relevant personal information until the correction or deletion has been completed.
④ The rights under Paragraph 1 may be exercised through a legal representative or an authorized agent of the data subject.
In such cases, a power of attorney in the form prescribed in Appendix Form No. 11 of the Enforcement Rule of the Personal Information Protection Act must be submitted.
⑤ Data subjects shall not infringe upon their own or another person’s personal information or privacy processed by the Company in violation of the Personal Information Protection Act or other applicable laws and regulations.

Article 5 (Destruction of Personal Information)
① The Company destroys personal information without delay when it is no longer necessary due to the expiration of the retention period, achievement of the processing purpose, or other reasons.
② Where personal information must continue to be retained under other applicable laws and regulations even after the retention period consented to by the data subject has expired or the processing purpose has been achieved, the relevant personal information will be transferred to a separate database (DB) or stored in a separate location.
③ The procedures and methods for destroying personal information are as follows.
1. Destruction Procedure
The Company selects personal information for which a reason for destruction has arisen and destroys it with the approval of the Company’s Chief Privacy Officer.
2. Destruction Method
The Company permanently deletes personal information recorded and stored in electronic file format so that it cannot be restored, and destroys personal information recorded and stored in paper documents by shredding or incineration.
Article 6 (Measures to Ensure the Security of Personal Information)
The Company takes the following measures to ensure the security of personal information.
1. Administrative Measures: Establishment and implementation of internal management plans, regular employee training, etc.
2. Technical Measures: Management of access rights to personal information processing systems, installation of access control systems, encryption of unique identification information
and other data, installation of security software
3. Physical Measures: Access control for computer rooms, data storage rooms, and other facilities
Article 7 (Installation and Operation of Automatic Personal Information Collection Devices and Methods of Refusal)
① The Company uses cookies, which store and periodically retrieve usage information, to provide users with individually customized services.
② Cookies are small pieces of information sent by the server (HTTP) used to operate the website to the user’s web browser and are stored on the user’s PC or mobile device.
